Let Us Pray

O Lord Jesus * it is you who has said * “I am the Resurrection and the Life

he that believeth in Me * although he be dead, shall live * and everyone

who liveth and believeth in Me shall never die" * Grant eternal life and rest

to the departed ______________ * O Lord.

And let perpetual light shine upon her.

Free, O Lord

the souls of all the departed from every bond of sin

and that through Thy helping grace

that she may they be able to escape the eternal judgement

and enjoy the bliss of everlasting light.

Amen.

O Lord God * who left us the marks of Your Passion on the Holy sheets

in which Your sacred Body was wrapped

when it was taken down from the Cross by Joseph.

Amen.

Grant us, Lord * that by Thy death and burial

we may be brought to the glory of the Resurrection

where Thou liveth and reigneth * with the Father and the Holy Spirit

God * forever and ever.
