O God * to whom it belongs

always to have mercy and to spare.

we beseech Thee on behalf of the soul of Your servant

_____________ * whom You has called from this life

deliver her not into the hands of the enemy

nor be forgetful of her forever

but command that she be taken up by the holy angels

and let her into Paradise, her true country

that since she has hoped and believed in You

she may not suffer the pains of hell

but may possess eternal joys

O God * who according to the multitude of Your mercies
