 14. Cainan

        Canaan

Cainan  = fixed possession, son of Ham, brother of                 Shem

Canaan = humiliated

Cainan was Noah’s favorite and stayed in Noah’s tent. Cainan got an affair with the wife of Arphaxad and was accidentally discovered by Noah. The woman got pregnant and Salah grew up with Canaan as his father but his actual father was Arphaxad. With Yahweh’s grace, he was included.
